trip to afar awash sebat

Trip To Afar Awash Sebat feb,20,2022

Awash Subah is a market town located around 214 km from Ethiopia's capital. The town of Awash, after which it is named, is situated in Administrative Zone 3 of the Afar Region, above a canyon on the Awash River. It is connected to the Addis Ababa-Djibouti Railway by a bridge that spans the gap.

My acquaintance, whose family is located far away, randomly invited me to spend our break with them. I was first a little hesitant to go, but I'm accustomed to trying new things and accepting failure.

With our host and another friend, we set out on our journey. The weather was nice up until we reached Methara, but after that, it started to feel a little warm. We continue travelling while enjoying beautiful country views, stopping in Methara for a break before moving on to Awash Sebat, where we eventually arrive.

Everyone in the neighbourhood knows one another, so it was simple for them to find out when we arrived. We were then welcomed in a warm manner, and they were so happy to have us with them. Once we learned that their preferred mode of transportation is a three-wheeled vehicle (bajaj), they accompanied us to our hosts' home.

The following day, she brought us to see the lovely city; as you stroll around it, there are many various types of cuisine to sample.

They will recognise right away that you are not from there and will invite you to try whatever you feel is novel to you.
You'll feel as though you've known them for ages.

We planned to visit the renowned Doho Lodge on the fourth day of our stay because it has hot springs and a nice view, but as I previously mentioned, the trip took much longer than I had anticipated. I believe it took us  22 kilometres. On the way, there were bandits who tried to stop us, but we were fortunate to be with the locals because they eventually let us go.

Doho Lodge is a wonderful welcoming and rustic lakeside lodge located next to the Aledeghi Wildlife Reserve, 22 km northwest of Awash Town.
I owe my close friend and her family for allowing me to experience the most amazing and memorable week of my life. I would like to return to Awash and visit the things that I missed due to a lack of time.
